The international exhibition titled "Major Directions of Development of Turkmenistan''s Energy Industry" opened at Sergi Kosgi exhibition centre in Ashgabat. The exhibition has been organized by the ministry of energy and industry and the chamber of commerce of Turkmenistan. Some 50 large foreign companies attend the exhibition. These are Sumskoy Machine Works (Ukraine), Tehnopromexport (Russia), WEST FSE (Dubai, UAE), COMPAX INTERNATIONAL (Israel) and others.
Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory message to the exhibition participants, the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports from Ashgabat.
The head of state expressed confidence that the international exhibition and conference would acquaint the international community with amazing achievements made by Turkmenistan''s energy industry since independence and provide an opportunity to discuss issues of joint work with interested companies as well as define prospects for further cooperation with Turkmen and foreign specialists, scientists and share experience.
