According to the preliminary data the deadly Boeing 737, which crashed near Bishkek on August 24 was not wrecked during the flight, Leonid Kashirsky, head of the plane crash investigation commission of the International Air Service Committee said at the news conference in the news agency ”24.kg” today.
The experts have also failed to find proof of any electronic or technical failure on board, besides the loss of pressure, which may have caused the crash.
“The black boxes of the deadly flight are being decoded. By now it was defined that the plane crew decided to come back to the airport after the loss of pressure occurred at 20:36 local time. The weather condition was fine, visibility – over 10 kilometers. The plane made a turn and started lowering. At 20:41 the pilot reported on visual contact with the runway. When lowered to the 400 meters the airplane began to let down the speed, but remained in a non-landing position at 20:43. The pilot required a turn permission and proceeded to a maneuver when received one. In a minute the plane was out of the swing at the extremely low altitude. The airplane crashed on a 7.5 distance from the runway with the gear down,” the expert said.
When asked about the arrested pilot of the plane Yury Goncharov, the expert said that the pilot’s evidence is contradictory and needs clarification.
