The ministry of energy and industry and the ministry of construction materials industry of Turkmenistan will sign a contract with Turkish company Imeks Inşaat Makina Elektrik Konstrksiyon Sanayi LTD.ŞTI for the design, landscaping of the adjoining territory and construction of an apartment house with improved conveniences and layout of apartments. The two ministries will equally share the cost of the contract.

According to the contract, a 12-storey 48-apartment house will have an underground car parking, spaces for public events, children and sport grounds and a two-storey shop.

The total cost of the contract is US $ 16 million, the Turkmenbusiness.org website said. The project implementation will start this September. The facility should be commissioned in December 2009.
