Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited wheat and cotton fields of Hanhous track of land during his working tour of Mary province on 17 September. He was accompanied by local officials.

The head of state visited Vatan farmer union in Murgap district as well as Bayramaly and Ak Altyn farmer unions in Karakum district, the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports from Ashgabat.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also viewed plots of land of successful farmers Baba Annayev, Shatlyk Garayev and Alladurdy Shemmedov. He participated in symbolic hand harvest of cotton and shared a meal with farmers in the open air.

The farmers thanked the president for support and care and for "creating conditions for decent life and work of villagers."
