A workshop on presentation of Kazakhstan’s investment opportunities held on September 24 in Linz, Austria, attracted attention of the Austrian business circles. The event was organized by Kazakh embassy in Austria and Raiffeisen Bank’s department.
The chiefs of the Astrian companies and banks interested in economic cooperation with Kazakhstan participated in the workshop, reported Kazinform with reference to the Kazakh embassy.
The participants expressed interest in the investment projects in the spheres of construction materials production, development of Kazakhstan’s railways and Atyrau sea port, agriculture, tourism and potential participation in construction of facilities for holding of the 2011 Asian Games.
The workshop is timely in view of the oncoming official visit of Austrian Federal President Heinz Fischer to Kazakhstan planned for October 12-14. As is known, the Federal President’s delegation will consist of a big group of Austrian businessmen.
