“Kyrgyzstan should stop simulating reforms,” Bakyt Beshimov a member of parliament from the Social Democrats’ party said during the open session of the International Business Council in Bishkek on Monday.
The lawmaker reminded the attendees that economical reforms are possible only in terms of conducive political system.
Kyrgyzstan should elaborate a long-term strategy for the next 20 years, which will sharpen the direction of our development in future. Besides, infrastructure maintenance should be put forward.
“It is difficult to talk about economy development when the country has no electricity. Kyrgyzstan is facing a phase of consumers’ economy, which is traced by the amount of foreign goods at the Kyrgyz market,” Beshimov said.
