President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a resolution on providing humanitarian aid to the people of the Kyrgyz Republic, who suffered from the earthquake, UzA reported.
The President''s resolution envisages delivery of various construction materials to the earthquake-hit region, including 120 tonnes of cement.
The neighboring country will also receive foodstuffs, including 60 tonnes of flour, a tonne of vegetable oil, as well as blankets, knitwear, children''s clothes and other goods of first necessity for a total sum of more than US$200,000.
The delivery of the humanitarian cargo will be carried out by the Emergency Ministry of Uzbekistan.
