Members of Kyrgyz Parliament urge Minister of Industry, Energy and Fuel Resources Saparbek Balkibekov to act up to his promises. A lawmaker Galina Kulikova turned to the minister with such a request during the parliament session on Thursday.

Kulikova said that kindergartens and other preschool institutions are cut off electricity despite minister’s promises.

Another Member of Parliament Ziyadin Jamaldiev added that there are some villages in Kyrgyzstan which have electricity only 3-4 hours a day, when the minister of energy promised that blackouts will not last more than 10-12 hours.
