The president of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, received on 15 December the ambassador and head of the OSCE centre in Ashgabat, Ibrahim Djikic, whose terms of diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan has come to an end. The head of state thanked the ambassador for his contribution to the strengthening of bilateral partnership and wished him further successes in work.
The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe highly estimates the existing dialog with Turkmenistan as an important and reliable partner, Ibrahim Djikic said.
Having thanked OSCE for cooperation, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that it progressed to a new level, in particular in the context of democratic reforms implemented in Turkmenistan. This is evidenced by participation of OSCE group of experts in monitoring of the election campaign and the election of deputies of the national parliament, the Ashgabat correspondent of Turkmenistan.ru was told in the press service of the head of state.
