The first shipment of 125 UAZ off-road cars manufactured by Ulyanovsk Car Plant arrived in Turkmenistan during New Year holidays. The vehicles were purchased under the contract exceeding US 10,300 million signed between Turkmenobahyzmat association and INTEGRA Company.
New off-road cars have already hit the road in Turkmenistan''s villages, the Turkmen State News Agency (TDH) said.
Turkmenobahyzmat association is yet to receive consignment of 928 UAZ cars of four modifications. The remaining cars will be shipped to Turkmenistan within half a year. The contract also provides for one year warranty service and maintenance of the vehicles.
