Legislative Chamber of Olii Majlis of Uzbekistan held a seminar dedicated to efficiency of information services in providing timely and objective information to public.

The event was organized by the Committee on information and communication technologies of the Legislative Chamber and attended by the heads of information services of ministries and departments, as well as mass media representatives.

Participants noted that delivery of timely, objective and reliable information to public is the actual tasks in the information society.

Attendees paid attention to preparation of staff for information services taking into account international experience and practice, further effective cooperation with the mass media.

The seminar also provided recommendations on use of modern information technologies in the activity of information service, carry out monitoring of their work and improvement skills of employees.
