Inflation rate in Kazakhstan will amount to 11% in 2009, said Chairman of National Bank Grigory Marchenko at meeting of Nur Otan faction in parliament.

“We expect that this year inflation will remain around 11%,” said Grigory Marchenko.

“Acceleration of inflation is expected in February but then the situation will stabilize, which would contribute to the reduction of negative expectations at the market,” said the Chairman of the National Bank.
