Another journalist was severely beaten in Kyrgyzstan. The day before International Women’s Day March 8, unknown assailants attacked the chief cameraman of the OshTV television and radio company Bahidir Kenjebaev in the city of Osh.
According to his colleagues, having brain concussion and other injuries he was taken to the Osh intensive care unit. The leadership of the television and radio company OshTV gears the incident to professional activity of Bahidir Kenjebaev.
The arrack came four days after a journalist with the independent weekly Reporter-Bishkek Syrgak Abdyldaev was beaten and stabbed more than 21 times as he was leaving his office in Bishkek.
