Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Igor Makarov, CEO of Itera international group of companies on 25 April. During the meeting, the head of the holding reported to the president on the pace of implementation of a number of projects awarded to the company, in particular in the oil and gas sector. The sides discussed the possibility of Itera''s joining the development of offshore fields in several blocks in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea, reports the press service of the Turkmen president.

On the same day, the president of Turkmenistan received Leonid, Melamed, the head of the Russian joint stock financial corporation Systema. The head of the holding briefed the president of Turkmenistan on the progress of some joint projects and emphasized his company''s high interest in developing multifaceted cooperation with Turkmenistan.
