Kyrgyzstan has ranked among three CIS states with the highest growth of investments to the basic capital, the CIS Interstate Statistic Committee reported.
The first quarter of 2009 saw a 31.9 percent increase, giving way only to Tajikistan with 51.3 percent growth, as compared to the same period last year. Growth of investments is also traced in Belarus (20 percent) and Azerbaijan (15.2 percent), while in Armenia, Russia and Kazakhstan investments are going down by 21.8, 15 and 4.9 percent respectively.
Meantime, most of the CIS states face the buying activity slowdown, averagely by 2 percent. However in Kyrgyzstan the buying activity has grown by 0.8 percent.
