The President of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiev has approved the Country Development Strategy for 2009-2011.

“The document was ratified to provide complex solution of social and economic problems taking into account high importance of the Country Development Strategy for 2009-2011,” presidential press service reported.

All administrative departments, local state administrations, self-governing authorities, central bodies in partnership with private sector, non-governmental organizations and civil society were charged with “ taking steps on implementation of the Country Development Strategy for 2009-2011.”

The Kyrgyz government was bound over to submit generalized report on implementation of the strategy to the presidential administration every three months.
