Germany will grant Kyrgyzstan €33 million for sustainable economic development and health care, Sanjar Mukanbetov, Assistant Economic Development and Trade Minister of Kyrgyzstan informed press conference on Tuesday, May 19.
About €24 million of the sum is allocated in form of financial assets and €9 million-is the technical grant. “The finances are assigned as a part of the Millennium Development Goals program. That is why €12 million will be spent on improvement of emergency medical aid system and maternity and child welfare services,” Mukanbetov added.
Besides, €4.5 million will be contributed in energy saving measures, €7 million will be spent on grants to microcredit companies and € 5 million- on assistance to the organizations’ consulting.
“Another €5 million will be invested in reforming of vocational education system,” assistant economic development and trade minister said.
