The government of Kazakhstan passed the decree of May, 15th, 2009 №732 on amendments to the government decree of December, 28th, 2007 №1317 on custom duties and commodity nomenclature of foreign trade activities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, "Kazakhstan Today" agency reports citing the official mass media.
According to the accepted document, duties on import to the country of trees and other plants, aluminium and aluminium products and other categories of goods have been cancelled.
Duties have been increased or imposed on some commodity goods. In particular, import rate of nuclear reactors has been increased from zero up to 15 (in percentage of customs cost or euro).
"The decree will come into force after 30 calendar days from the moment of its first official publication," the text of the document published on May 26th states.
