Uzbekistan and Belorussia do not take part in Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Collective Forces of Operational Response (CFOR) formation.

Leaders of countries-members of CSTO signed an agreement on CFOR formation during summit in Moscow on June 14. Uzbekistan and Belorussia did not sign the document.

Besides Belorussia, Uzbekistan did not sign the document yet due to "a number of doubts," President of Russia Dmitri Medvedev stated.

"A number of states consider their participation in these forces for now. I do not see anything dramatic in this. After all other forces of this kind were not formed in one day, and all participants did not join them in one moment," Medvedev noted.

Not all partners signed documents on participation in CFOR of CSTO, he reminded. However, "after thinking over and evaluating the situation, they will agree to sign," he added.

Republic "has a firm position on a number of principle issues," state channel "Uzbekistan" reported, commenting CFOR document signing in Kremlin, on June 14.
