President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working tour of Ashgabat on Saturday. As the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports quoting the press service of the head of state, the tour was requested by the city administration, as well as heads of ministries and agencies - owners of facilities under construction in the Turkmen capital.

During his tour, the Turkmen leader reviewed sketches of buildings of "Halk Bank", two universities - the Institute of International Relations and the Institute of Sport and Tourism, as well as options for expanding the building of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan developed by French company "Bouygues".

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov "noted the need to make significant adjustments to the proposed options, in particular with regards to the layout and interiors of buildings," the press-service said.

The head of Turkish company "Polimex", Erol Tabanja, briefed Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the changes and amendments to the initial draft of the medical university. Given the significance of adjustments, it was decided to reschedule the commissioning of the new university building to a later date.
