The delegation of heads of several Malaysian companies is expected to arrive in Tashkent today. This visit is organized with the purpose to boost commercial and economic cooperation between Uzbek and Malaysian businessmen, the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan said.
The delegation includes heads and representatives of companies active in production of palm oil, condensed milk, soy sauce, fruit juices, furniture manufacturing, electrical industry, production of firebricks, ceramic and porcelain tiles, musical equipment and instruments, logistical and transport sectors and other consumer goods.
The talks on development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries are scheduled for October 20.
The visit is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan together with the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) and will last until October 21.
