The amount of infringing medications increased ten times since 1998 according to Uzbek Ministry of Health, radio channel "Poitakht" reported.
The issue relates not only to absolute growth of infringing medications, but also to expansion of assortment, message stated. Almost all medications are falsified, and mostly those which are frequently bought.
Recent amendments to the law "On medications and pharmaceutical activity" will allow to create conditions for effective protection of internal market from the stream of falsified medications and protect legal interests of enterprises producers, Ministry of Health specialists consider.
