Kazakh Prime minister Karim Masimov and head of the International Monetary Fund''s mission in Kazakhstan Ana Lucia Coronel discussed questions of current conditions of the banking and financial system of Kazakhstan, reported the Kazakh government''s press service on Friday.
The Kazakh Prime Minister informed about the process of restructuring of foreign loans of Kazakh banks BTA and Alliance and about measures of government to stimulate the investment of the economy.
They also discussed questions of current macroeconomic situation in Kazakhstan and measures of government concerning the provision of positive economic growth by results of 2009. "Representatives of the IMF noticed the positive tendency of the recovery of the Kazakh economy," said in the report.
During the meeting sides also discussed questions of policy of management of capital of the National Fund and usage of foreign loan sources.
