Consumer prices grew 0.4% in October 2009 in Kazakhstan, reported the Kazakh Statistics Agency.
"The index of consumer prices in October 2009 counted 100.4% in comparison to the previous month," said in the report.
The agency noticed that prices of groceries remained stable in October and the index counted 100%. The non-grocery goods prices grew 0.4% and paid service grew 0.9%.
From the beginning of the year prices and tariffs of consumer goods and service grew 5.1%, grocery goods 2.4%, non-grocery goods 7.4% and paid service 6.7%.
