The city of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, will host the Investment Forum and Exhibition of Turkmenistan''s production on 1-2 February 2010. The twin event is being organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, relevant ministries and departments as well as the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a decree to this effect. The document orders that necessary contracts should be concluded with the organizer of the international conferences, "R & D Holding Ltd" (UAE) company, and participants from Turkmenistan.

According to the decree, the purpose of the forum and exhibition is to "further develop trade and economic relations between Turkmenistan and UAE, establish business contacts with the Arab and world companies and investors, attract foreign investment to the national economy, demonstrate the investment potential of all sectors of the Turkmen economy, and make known the achievements of the national economy of Turkmenistan."
