According to the Kazakh Statistics Agency, the level of unemployment in Kazakhstan reached 6.4% in October.

The number of unemployed in October counted 539.900 people which is 6.4%, said in the report.

According to the Statistics Agency, by the end of October there were registered 85.500 of unemployed people.

The part of registered unemployed people counted 1% of economically active population which is 0.3 percent of the similar rates of the previous year.

According to the preliminary information, the level of the latent unemployment in October counted 0.6% of the economically active population.

According to the Statistics Agency, in October 7.9 million citizens were employed which is 58.600 people of 0.7% higher of the rates of the previous year. The number of wage workers counted 5.3 million people which is 66.2% of the economically active population.
