The International Exhibition of the construction industry and building materials industry of the Turkish Republic titled "Ashgabat Expo Build 2010" opened at the Exhibition Center of Ashgabat today.
The forum brought together 64 companies from different regions of Turkey interested in development of fruitful cooperation with state and private companies of Turkmenistan in the sphere of construction and building materials industry. The exhibition features a number of thematic sections, including construction technologies, equipment and automotive equipment, construction materials, tools, sanitary equipment, electricity and lighting, and others.
Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov conveyed a welcoming message to participants of the International Exhibition. The message was read out at the beginning of the exhibition inauguration.
Congratulating participants on the opening of the exhibition as a landmark event in relations between the two brotherly countries, the President noted that today "the fraternal Turkmen-Turkish relations have acquired a new meaning that greatly expanded the horizons of cooperation between the two countries."
According to the President, hundreds of facilities of industrial, social, and cultural purpose are being built in Turkmenistan with the active participation of the Turkish partners. "This is the best evidence of enhanced multilateral cooperation between our brotherly countries," the Turkmen leader stressed.
