The Government of Turkmenistan jointly with the UN Children''s Fund (UNICEF) will hold the 3rd International Festival of Gifted Children "Avaza - land of friendship" on the Caspian Sea coast. The festival will be held from 28 May to 2 June in the town of Turkmenbashi in Balkan province marking the International Children''s Day.
Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a decree authorizing the Ministry of Culture and Broadcasting, Ministry of Education and administration of Balkan province to ensure proper organization of the festival, and also approving the composition of the organizing committee.
