The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe has supported the initiative of Kazakhstan on carrying out of the summit of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). The chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Mevlut Chavushoglu, informed in an interview to journalists on Monday, the agency reports.
"As representatives of another international organization, we support the initiative of Kazakhstan on carrying out the OSCE summit. Kazakhstan has always successfully held various conferences," M. Chavushoglu said.
"Kazakhstan as the OSCE chairman this year sets a good example to the European countries and can contribute to both the European values and to organization development," M. Chavushoglu said.
