Kyrgyzstan introduces legislative support for women’s entrepreneurship

According to the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan, as of 2020, approximately 30% of entrepreneurs in the country were women; illustrative photo / eltr.kg.President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov has signed amendments made to the "Law on the Protection of Entrepreneurs' Rights," adopted by the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) in December 2024. For the first time, the law introduces the concept of "women's entrepreneurship."
