Kyrgyzstan has outpaced its Central Asian neighbors in per capita GDP growth over the past three years, Gazeta.uz reports, citing economist Mirkamil Kholboyev, a graduate of South Korea’s Chonbuk National University.  From 2022 to 2024, the country’s per capita GDP reportedly surged by 85%, reaching US$2,500.
