DUSHANBE, January 21, 2009, Asia-Plus - Tajik soccer team, “Regar-TadAZ,” qualified for quarterfinal of the CIS Champions Cup, beating Ukraine’s “Shakhtyor” 4-1 yesterday, according to the Tajik Football Federation.

Speaking in an interview with Asia-Plus, Sherali Davlatov, Secretary General of the Tajik Football Federation, said that it was the biggest success of Tajik soccer players in the CIS Champions Cup tournaments.

In the quarterfinal, “Regar-TadAZ” will compete with Azeri “Inter” tomorrow.
