DUSHANBE, February 8, Asia-Plus -- Since the beginning of the year, a 22 percent increase in prices of some vegetables and fruits and some basic food products has been reported on markets in Dushanbe, according to information from the Ministry of Economy and Trade.
The source says the vegetable and fruits price rises have a seasonal character. The Asia-Plus interlocutor has noted that prices of sugar on the Dushanbe markets have increased by 20 percent since the beginning of the year.
At the same time, prices of noodles, dairy products, meat and sausages, as well as bread and wheat flour have remained the same.
