DUSHANBE, April 12, Asia-Plus -- Number of financial crimes is decreasing in Tajikistan year out, Abdujabbor Shirinov, Chairman of Tajik State Finance Control Committee, announced at a briefing in Dushanbe on April 12.  

At the same time, Shirinov noted that it did not mean that they would end at all.  Compared to January-March 2005 amount of damage caused by financial machinations to the country’s economy reduced from 20.8 million Somonis to 9.2 million Somonis over the past three months, according to him.  

“Nature of machinations has changed and sometimes it is very hard to reveal such machinations and embezzlements,” Shirinov said.
