Finance control officers gather for meeting in Astana

DUSHANBE
, April 19, Asia-Plus - A two-day conference on a role of higher finance control bodies in providing transparency and efficiency of management of state-owned financial resources will open in the Kazakh capital city of
Astana
on April 20.
The conference participants include senior representatives of state finance control bodies from 20 countries of
Europe
, Near East, Central and
South Asia
.
According to information from the
Tajikistan
’s State Finance Control Committee, Kholnazar Qarayev, deputy head of the Committee’s state-owned property control department, and Abdurrazoq Hasanov, deputy head of the Committee’s department for control of budgetary management of state stocks, are representing
Tajikistan
at this meeting.
The conference is aiming to consider the topical issues of external and internal finance control. Participants at the conference also will assess the results of control events, role and place of higher finance control in international community.
Participants at the conference are also scheduled to meet with
Kazakhstan
’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
