Labor migration problems to be discussed in Moscow today

DUSHANBE
, May 10, Asia-Plus - Issues related to development of labor potential and vocational education are in the center of discussion at an international conference formally titled “Labor Resources and Labor Potential of Central Asia and
Russia
” that opened in
Moscow
today.
According to information from the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the conference is aiming to consider issues of labor migration, increase in productiveness of labor and social stability with regard to demographic situation and prognosis on the labor market.
The source says Zokir Vazirov, Minister of Labor and Social Security, and Anvar Boboyev, Director of State Migration Service, are representing
Tajikistan
at this conference.
“Labor migrants may fill in deficiency of manpower in the
Russian Federation
, and
Russia
is interested in recruiting labor migrants from
Central Asia
,” said the Asia-plus interlocutor, “At present the main problem is the issue of legalization of labor migrants staying in the
Russian Federation
.”
Participants of the conference staged by the “Institute for Eurasian Studies” Foundation and
