, Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Melnik told journalists in
Dushanbe
Thursday following the meeting.
Speaking to journalists, Yuri Melnik noted that all items considered at the meeting were important. However, voicing criticism at the CIS the Ukrainian official noted that invariable position of
Ukraine
was that meetings of such level should more attention to economic issues rather than to the financial ones.
According to him, at present it was necessary to improve the structure that had a 15-year history. “Tasks change, there are new achievements, goals and priorities, and the point is that the structure has needs in improvement and reforms,” the Ukrainian vice-premier stressed.
Mr. Melnik also noted that

was currently analyzing its work as a CIS member. “The question of
Ukraine
’s leaving the organization is not on the agenda; we say the group needs reforms and it should have precise priorities,» Yuri Melnik said.
