DUSHANBE , May 27, Asia-Plus - A Tajik parliamentary delegation led Ubaidullo Davlatov, deputy Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon ( Tajikistan ’s lower chamber of parliament) took part in a work of the 7 ^th plenary session of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Eurasian Economic Community in Minsk on May 26.  

According to information from the Majlisi Oli (Tajik parliament), the session summed up the results of work carried out last year on providing legal support for development of the Community as well as considered amendments proposed to a program of legislative activity of the EAEC Inter-Parliamentary Assembly designed for 2006 and next years.  

MPs from Belarus , Kazakhstan , Kyrgyzstan , Russia , Tajikistan and Uzbekistan also discussed prospects of further development of the Community and the issues related to extension of format in connection with Uzbekistan ’s joining this regional economic club.
