DUSHANBE, June 30, Asia-Plus -- The 1 st International Industrial Exhibition “InterLegProm-2006” (light industry) will open in Dushanbe on June 8, according to information from Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI).
Mr. Dilshod Mirsaidov, chief specialists with CCI department for international ties, has told Asia-Plus that Tajikistan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, as well as India and Turkey will take part in this exhibition.
The exhibitions staged by Tajik CCI under support of Tajikistan’s Government and Industries Ministry runs through June 11.
24 Tajik textile companies and enterprises have to date lodged applications for participating in the exhibition.
According to figures provided by the State Committee for Statistics, at present 144 enterprises of light industry are operating in Tajikistan.
