DUSHANBE, June 22, Asia-Plus -- Tajikistan’s State Committee for Management of State-owned Property today hosted a roundtable meeting to discuss issues related to a rational use of state-owned properties, putting of them on lease, etc.
The meeting participants include representatives from a number of the country’s ministries and organizations, as well as experts in this field. The meeting is considering legal foundation of efficient use of the state-owned properties in the country and a procedure of writing off the state-owned properties.
The source in the Committee for Management of State-owned Property has told Asia-Plus that it is necessary to review principles and priorities in the field of management of the state-owned properties, and to tighten state control and regulation in the state-run sector of economy. For this purpose it is necessary to inventory the state-owned properties and realize a system of registration of these objects and legalization of rights of them.
