DUSHANBE, July 10, Asia-Plus - Foreign investors have shown interest in increase of production of natural medicinal preparation (burn-treatment ointment) “Oryon”, Saidqadam Davlatqadamov, the director of the limited liability company “Tajpromfarminvest” (Tajik pharmaceutics investment), said.  

According to him, with aid of foreign investors they intend to increase production of the ointment “Oryon”, which is an excellent antiseptic preparation and an excellent preparation for treating buns, for export.  “The price of the ointment is quite affordable – 12 Somonis,” Mr. Davlatqadamov said.   

Tajikistan arranged production of the “Oryon” ointment last year.  The ointment was worked out by a group of Tajik medical workers under the leadership of Saidqadam Davlatqadamov.   

 “Besides the “Oryon” ointment, we recently put into production a series of other natural medicinal preparations, including a balsam “Kholi Oryon” intended for treating gall-stone diseases, etc,” the Asia-Plus interlocutor said.  

Davlatqadamov noted that experts from “Tajpromfarminvest” had worked out an investment project aimed at increasing a volume and assortment of medicinal preparations produced on the basis of local resources and seeking new seller’s markets ( Russia , Kazakhstan , India , Uzbekistan. etc).  A total cost of this project is US$6 million; “Tapromjfarminvest” will provide a half of this amount.  The project is expected to be repaid within three years, according to Davlatqadamov.
