DUSHANBE , July 28, Asia-Plus - At present some 3,000 people are working with Tajik State Air Company “Tojikiston,” its director general, Hokimsho Tilloyev, remarked at a news conference in Dushanbe on July 27.  

According to him, a monthly wage of employees of the Tajik national air carrier fluctuates from 100 Somonis to 2,000 Somonis, depending on position, qualification, experiences of work and other parameters.  

On the training of personnel for Tajik airlines, Mr. Tilloyev said that they planned to establish additional sections at the air specialists’ training department at Tajikistan ’s Institute of Transport .   “It will be great help for training of aviators inside the republic,” the air carrier top manager said.  

He also noted that future Tajik aviators on disciplines such as air technicians, flying control officer, and pilot would be trained outside the country.  “At present 58 Tajik students are studying at higher educational institutions of civil aviation in the CIS states,” said Hokimsho Tilloyev, “Training of one specialist for Tajik air carrier abroad comes to US$10,000-US$15,000 a year.”
