DUSHANBE, September 21, Asia-Plus - Some 3,000 computers will be distributed to schools across Tajikistan soon.
282 computers and 47 printers will be sent to Gorno Badakhshan for distributing to schools in the region, presidential press service reported.
522 computers and 87 printers will be handed over to the Sughd education department, and 1338 computers and 223 printers to Khatlon, according to the source.
“Dushanbe will receive 144 computers and 24 printers, and the districts subordinate to the center 504 computers and 86 printers,” the source said.
In 2002, Tajikistan’s government adopted the National Program for Computerization of Schools. The program is designed for 2003-2007.
