DUSHANBE, December 13, Asia-Plus - More than 15 issues have been tabled to the agenda of a session of the Integration Committee of the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC) that is opening in Moscow today, according to president’s executive office. The meeting is held at the level of vice-premiers.
Fayzullo Kholboboyev, Tajikistan’s Representative to the EAEC, is representing Tajikistan at the meeting aiming to consider issues related to further economic integration of member nations of the Community. Participants at the meeting will also consider a progress of preparation of documents necessary for laying legal foundation of the EAEC Customs Union and draft agreements on a common approach to use of information technologies of customs control on movement of goods and transport vehicles via borders of member nations of the Community.
The meeting is also considering the possibility of creation of a common insurance market, as well as preparation of events on development of interstate leasing of agricultural machines and a draft agreement on cooperation between the Integration Committee and the Eurasian Development Bank.
The EAEC members are Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Armenia, Moldova and Ukraine have status of observer at the EAEC.
