DUSHANBE, December 15, Asia-Plus - Prospects of further expansion of cooperation between the Tajik Government and Russia’s Unified Energy Systems (RAO YeES) top President Rahmonov’s discussions with the RAO YeES head Anatoly Chubais in Dushanbe today morning.
Chubais arrived in Dushanbe yesterday evening to join President Rahmonov at a ceremony of an official beginning of the construction of a dam on the Vakhsh River.
Presidential press service said that the two are discussing a progress of the construction of Sangtuda-1 power plant. Rahmonov and Chubais are expected to leave for the dam site at 11:00 a.m.
