DUSHANBE, February 28, Asia-Plus - Newly appointed ambassadors of Indonesia, Zambia, Mongolia and Portugal will have presented their credentials to Tajik president this week.
According to the Tajik MFA, Indonesian Ambassador Siyahril Sabaruddi and Zambian Ambassador Peter Chintala arrived in Dushanbe on February 27. Mongolian Ambassador Ravdangiyn Hatanbaatara arrived in Dushanbe on Monday, February 26.
A source at the Tajik MFA said that during his five-day stay in Dushanbe, Zambian diplomat is scheduled to hold talks with Economic Development and Trade Minister Ghulomjon Boboyev and Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) head Sharif Saidov.
Mongolian ambassador has also arrived in Tajikistan for a five-day visit. During his stay in Dushanbe, Ravdangiyn Hatanbaatara is expected to meet with the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament) Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev and Prime Minister Oqil Oqilov.
Portuguese Ambassador to Tajikistan Manuel Marcellus Kurtu (phonetically spelled) is expected to arrive in Dushanbe on March 1.
