DUSHANBE, March 29, Asia-Plus -- China’s ZTE Corporation has donated 1,000 radio telephone sets to educational facilities in Tajikistan.

On Tuesday March 27, the telephones were handed over to the Ministry of Education (MoE) for distribution among the country’s educational facilities.   

Noilsho Nouraliyev, a spokesman for a MoE, said that an agreement on providing 1,000 radio telephone sets to Tajikistan’s educational facilities was signed between the ministry and the Chinese company on April 17, 2006.  

According to him, the telephones will be distributed among the country’s schools within the next few days.
