DUSHANBE, April 3, Asia-Plus -- On Monday April 2, visiting Slovakian Ambassador to Tajikistan Josef Machicak met in Dushanbe with the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) Speaker Saydullo Khairulloyev.
According to the Majlisi Namoyandagon press service, the sides exchanged views on expansion of inter-parliamentary cooperation between Tajikistan and Slovakia.
Khairulloyev briefed Machicak on activities of the Majlisi Namoyandagon and offered to set up parliamentary groups for Tajik-Slovakian friendship. “These groups could make considerable contribution to expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Slovakia,” the speaker said.
Slovakian diplomat seconded the Tajik speaker’s proposal and noted that the parliaments of the two countries could also cooperate in drafting module laws and use experiences of each of other.
