DUSHANBE, May 30, Asia-Plus - On Tuesday May 29, President Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with his Kazakh counterpart, President Nursultan Nazarabyev, to discuss state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan in different spheres, presidential press service said.
The two also discussed the present situation in the region and the upcoming CIS summit that is scheduled to be held in Dushanbe in October this year.
Rahmon and Nazarbayev also considered issues related to the forthcoming Nursultan Nazarbayev’s trip to Tajikistan. Kazakh president is scheduled to visit Tajikistan in the near future and the sides noted that the trip would give new impulse to expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, according presidential press service.
