DUSHANBE, June 19, Asia-Plus -- Nearly 3,000 Tajik nationals will be able to leave for Russia’s Kaliningrad region for seasonal work, Asia-Plus has learned at the migration service of the Ministry of Interior (MoI).
According to the MoI migrations service, R. Yankauskas, the head of the Kaliningrad limited liability company T-Alliance (it deals with employment issues in the Kaliningrad region) remarked this at his meeting with President Emomali Rahmon in Dushanbe on June 15.
The source at the MoI migration service said that at first T-Alliance is ready to recruit 1,500 workers from Tajikistan, with further increase of their number to 3,000. “They mostly need builders, including concrete workers, bricklayers, etc,” the source said, noting that they will receive from 15,000 to 25,000 Russian rubles, depending on their specialty and qualification.
